Today is the first day of Annie's Stampin' Up! conference.
After breakfast, we drove to downtown where I dropped her off for the day. While she was busy stamping, I explored downtown Salt Lake City.Temple Square is the beautiful headquarters for the Mormon church and houses the Temple, Tabernacle (Home of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir), and the old Temple. After a half-hour tour our young guides were not too disappointed that not a single person was ready to convert.
Late in the afternoon, Annie and I met and drove to the suburb of Riverton to tour the Stampin' Up! headquarters. Their facility was pretty impressive. A waterfall rose from the two-story reception and employee break area. I was very impressed with their automated order fulfilment system. We returned downtown for a great Italian dinner.
Downtown was crawling with Stampin' Up! excited demonstrators. They were all buzzing with the new ideas that they picked us during the first day.
Sorry we don't have more pictures, Annie had the camera today and most of the pictures are of cute cards.
