Day 15 - Saturday, August 8 - Salt Lake City

The Stampin' Up! conference ends today.

While Annie was out having fun with her friends, I relaxed by the pool and started a new book.

After checking out of the hotel, I headed up into the mountains to get a good look down at Salt Lake City. On the way up, I noticed that Park City was only 20 miles up the hill, so I drove up and checked it out. Nice place. Too bad Annie didn't come, there was a ton of shopping.

On the way back down, I could see the Great Salt Lake. Since I had a little more time before picking Annie up, I drove down to the Lake. It was very smelly and very big.

We drove for a few hours to the city of Elko (The Middle of Nowhere), Nevada and checked in our hotel. There just happened to be a nighttime showing of "Singing in the Rain" in the park across the street. What a great movie!
